Throughout Raccoon City, you'll discover numerous files, notes, and journals that expand upon the game's rich lore and provide backstory to the unfolding events. While not directly impacting gameplay, collecting these documents offers a deeper understanding of the T-Virus outbreak, Umbrella Corporation's sinister activities, and the fates of various characters. Some files also contain hints for puzzles or safe combinations. There are 58 files in total, and collecting them all unlocks the 'Bookworm' achievement/trophy.
