Location: Sanctuary (Chapter 16)

The final boss of Resident Evil 4 Remake, Osmund Saddler transforms into a massive, spider-like creature.

Attack Patterns:

  • Limb Swipes: Uses his mutated limbs to attack Leon.
  • Acid Spit: Spits corrosive projectiles.
  • Summon Plagas: Summons smaller Plaga creatures to distract Leon.
  • Charge: Can charge across the arena.

Strategy:

  1. Target the Eye: Saddler's primary weak point is the large, glowing eye on his body. Shoot it to stun him.
  2. Melee Follow-up: When stunned, approach him and use the 'Attack' prompt (usually a powerful knife strike or special melee).
  3. Ada's Rocket Launcher: During the fight, Ada Wong will periodically throw a special Rocket Launcher. Grab it and fire it at Saddler for an instant kill. This is the easiest way to end the fight.
  4. Crowd Control: Use Flash Grenades to instantly kill the smaller Plagas he summons.
  5. Keep Moving: His attacks cover a wide area. Constantly reposition yourself and use cover.
  6. Rocket Launcher (Purchased): If you bought a Rocket Launcher from the Merchant before the fight, you can use it at any point for an instant win.

Weakness:
