Request Board Quests & Their Rewards
Throughout your harrowing journey in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you'll encounter various Request Boards, primarily in the Village and Castle sections. These boards offer optional objectives that, upon completion, reward you with valuable items and resources. Fulfilling these requests is an excellent way to supplement your arsenal and gain an edge against the relentless Ganados and other horrors.
Village Requests
- Destroy the Blue Medallions: These are small, blue emblems scattered throughout the Village area. Destroying them all typically rewards you with valuable treasures like the Silver Ring or a powerful weapon upgrade material.
- Pest Control: This request usually involves eliminating a specific number of rats or other small, annoying creatures that infest certain areas. The reward is often Spinel, a currency used to trade with the Merchant for unique items.
- Viper Hunter: You'll be tasked with hunting down and collecting a certain number of vipers. These can be found in various locations, often in dark corners or near water. The reward is usually a useful item like a grenade or a valuable gem.
- Merchant's Request: Sometimes, the Merchant himself will post a request, often asking you to retrieve a specific item or eliminate a particular threat. These can yield significant rewards, including rare weapons or large sums of Pesetas.
Castle Requests
- Destroy the Blue Medallions (Castle): Similar to the Village, the Castle also features Blue Medallions. Completing these sets often grants valuable treasures, sometimes even more potent than those found in the Village.
- Insectoid Eradication: This request involves eliminating a specific number of insects, often found in damp or enclosed areas within the Castle. The reward is typically Spinel or other crafting materials.
- The Disgrace of the Family: This quest might involve destroying a specific enemy or object that is causing trouble for the inhabitants. The rewards can vary but are generally quite beneficial.
Always check the Request Boards whenever you find one. The rewards are well worth the effort, especially when facing tougher enemies or exploring new areas. Spinel, in particular, is crucial for obtaining exclusive items from the Merchant, so prioritize quests that offer it.
