The Armory and Garrador — Resident Evil 4 (Remake) Walkthrough

After unlocking the central door, you'll gain access to the Armory. This area introduces a terrifying new enemy: the Garrador. The Garrador is a blind, armored enemy with massive claws. It relies on sound to locate you. Your strategy should be to move silently and attack its exposed back (the Plaga). Use your knife to sneak up and stab it, or shoot it with powerful weapons when it's disoriented. Flash grenades can stun it, giving you an opening. There's often a bell in the room that you can shoot to distract it. After defeating the Garrador, search the Armory for valuable resources and a Key Item that allows you to proceed further into the castle.
