The Research Facility — Resident Evil 4 (Remake) Walkthrough

The bulk of Chapter 13 takes place within the sprawling Research Facility. This area is a maze of laboratories, corridors, and security checkpoints. You'll need to find Keycards or solve security puzzles to progress. Expect heavy resistance from Militants, including those with riot shields and stun batons. New enemy types like the Regenerador are introduced here. These creatures are incredibly resilient and can only be killed by destroying the Plagas within their bodies, which are visible through a thermal scope (acquired later). For now, avoid them or use powerful weapons to dismember them temporarily. Keep Ashley safe and utilize her hiding spots.
