Ashley's Role & Mechanics:
- Follow/Stay: You can command Ashley to follow you or stay put. Use 'Stay' to keep her safe during intense firefights or when solving puzzles.
- Hide: Ashley can hide in lockers or other designated safe spots, making her invulnerable to enemy attacks.
- Vulnerability: If Ashley takes too much damage, it's game over. She can also be carried away by enemies, requiring you to rescue her.
- Assistance: In some rare instances, Ashley can assist Leon by opening doors or reaching inaccessible areas.
- Armor: After completing the game, you can unlock an 'Armor' costume for Ashley, making her invulnerable to all damage and preventing enemies from carrying her away, significantly easing subsequent playthroughs.
