Descent into the Sewers

From the Grand Hall, a hidden passage or a newly opened door will lead you down into the Castle Sewers. This area is dark, cramped, and filled with water. The primary enemies here are the Novistadors, flying insect-like creatures that can turn invisible. Use your shotgun or SMG to quickly dispatch them. Keep an eye on the ceiling and listen for their distinctive buzzing sound. The sewers also contain several environmental hazards, such as toxic water and collapsing walkways. Navigate carefully, looking for ladders and alternative paths. There's usually a Merchant located in a dry, well-lit section of the sewers, offering a brief respite.
