Antique Coins are a special currency used to purchase upgrades and powerful items from the bird cages found in safe rooms. There are a total of 18 Antique Coins in Normal difficulty (33 on Madhouse). They are often hidden in plain sight but require careful observation to spot. Prioritize purchasing the Stabilizer (faster reload) and the Magnum, as these significantly aid in combat. The Defense Coin is also a valuable early purchase.
