Mastering your chosen character's unique abilities and skills is paramount to surviving the horrors of Raccoon City. Each member of the USS Alpha Team (Wolfpack) brings a distinct set of talents to the field, offering varied tactical approaches to combat and objective completion. Understanding these nuances will allow you to form a cohesive and effective squad, whether playing solo with AI companions or coordinating with friends.
Skills are categorized into two main types: Active Abilities and Passive Skills. Active Abilities are powerful, on-demand actions that consume a portion of your ability meter, while Passive Skills provide constant, beneficial effects. Both can be upgraded using XP earned during missions, enhancing their effectiveness and unlocking new tiers.
Upgrading Abilities and Skills
Experience Points (XP) are your currency for character progression. You earn XP by defeating enemies, completing mission objectives, and finding collectibles. To upgrade:
- Access the Character Customization menu from the main lobby or between missions.
- Select your desired character.
- Navigate to the Abilities or Skills tab.
- Highlight the ability or skill you wish to improve.
- Confirm the upgrade using your accumulated XP. Higher tiers cost more XP but offer significant boosts.

Character-Specific Abilities & Strategies
Hunk (Vector) - Recon & Stealth Specialist
