These collectibles provide valuable lore about the T-Virus outbreak, Umbrella's experiments, and the fate of Raccoon City's inhabitants. Collecting them often rewards you with bonus XP and Credits.
Tips for finding them:
- Explore thoroughly: Don't just rush through objectives. Check every room, especially those off the main path.
- Look for glowing objects: Data Logs often have a subtle glow, making them easier to spot in dark environments.
- Listen for audio cues: Sometimes, a faint sound effect will play when you are near a collectible.
- Check behind debris: Many are hidden behind destructible objects or in areas that require a slight detour.
- Use Spectre's abilities: Spectre's 'Threat Detector' can sometimes highlight interactive objects, including collectibles, through walls.
