Primary Weapons:

  • Assault Rifles (AR): Versatile, balanced fire rate and damage. Good for most situations (e.g., M4, AK-47, G36).
  • Submachine Guns (SMG): High fire rate, low damage per shot, excellent for close-quarters combat and quickly dispatching weaker enemies (e.g., MP5, UMP-45).
  • Shotguns (SG): Devastating at close range, wide spread, ideal for crowd control or powerful single-target damage (e.g., SPAS-12, M3).
  • Light Machine Guns (LMG): High ammo capacity, sustained fire, good for suppressing enemies or dealing with large groups (e.g., M60, M249).
  • Sniper Rifles (SR): High damage, low fire rate, excellent for precision headshots at long range (e.g., Dragunov, M14 EBR).

Secondary Weapons:

  • Handguns: Reliable sidearms, infinite reserve ammo (though still requires reloading), good for finishing off weak enemies or when out of primary ammo (e.g., M9, Samurai Edge).
  • Machine Pistols: Higher fire rate than handguns, but limited ammo (e.g., G18).

Weapon Upgrades: In the store, you can spend Credits to upgrade various stats for each weapon, such as Damage, Accuracy, Stability, Reload Speed, and Magazine Capacity. Prioritize upgrades that complement your character's role and playstyle.

While Operation Raccoon City limits players to two specific weapon slots, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 offers more tactical flexibility by allowing characters to cycle through four active firearms.
