Alex Wesker (Mutated)

Alex Wesker, after her failed attempt at immortality, transforms into a grotesque, highly mutated creature. Her boss fight varies significantly depending on whether you are playing as Claire/Moira (if you achieved the good ending path) or Barry/Natalia (the true final boss).

Claire & Moira Strategy (Good Ending Path):

  • Phase 1 (Humanoid Form): Alex will be in a more humanoid, but still mutated, form. She's fast and uses quick melee attacks and energy projectiles. Her weak point is her head. Use Claire's assault rifle or pistol for consistent headshots. Moira's flashlight can stun her, creating openings. Keep moving and use cover to avoid her projectiles.
  • Phase 2 (Larger Mutation): She'll mutate further, becoming larger and more aggressive. She'll gain powerful ground slams and sweeping attacks. Her weak points are now glowing sacs on her back and chest. Use Claire's shotgun or rifle to target these. Firebombs are effective. This phase is about managing space and dodging her powerful attacks while chipping away at her weak points.

Barry & Natalia Strategy (True Final Boss):

  • Phase 1 (Initial Mutation): Alex is a massive, slow-moving but incredibly powerful creature. Her weak points are the glowing orange sacs on her body, which Natalia can highlight. Use Barry's magnum or shotgun to target these. She'll use powerful ground slams and sweeping tentacle attacks. Keep your distance.
  • Phase 2 (Vulnerable Core): After dealing enough damage, she will expose a large, glowing core on her chest. This is her primary weak point. Unload all your most powerful weapons (magnum, shotgun, explosives) into this core. Natalia's ability to highlight this is crucial.
  • Phase 3 (Regeneration & Aggression): She will regenerate and become more aggressive, often summoning smaller enemies (Afflicted, Glasps) to distract you. Continue to target her glowing sacs until the core is exposed again. Manage the smaller enemies with Barry's revolver or Natalia's bricks, but prioritize damaging Alex.
  • Final Phase (Desperation): In her final moments, she'll become extremely fast and erratic. She might climb walls or charge relentlessly. Continue to target her weak points and exposed core. This is where all your remaining heavy ammo and explosives should be used. Natalia's sensing is vital for tracking her movements.

Weak Points: Glowing orange sacs on her body, and a large glowing core on her chest when exposed.

Rewards: Game completion, Battle Points, specific ending based on previous choices.
