Appearance: Episode 3 (Claire & Moira)
Neil, after being injected with the Uroboros virus, transforms into a massive, tentacled monster. This is a challenging fight that requires careful movement and precise targeting.
Strategy:
- Phase 1 (Initial Encounter): Neil will primarily use sweeping tentacle attacks and ground slams. His weak points are the glowing orange sacs on his body, particularly on his back and shoulders. Use Claire's assault rifle or shotgun to target these. Moira's flashlight can briefly stun him, giving Claire an opening. Keep your distance and constantly move to avoid his wide-reaching attacks.
- Phase 2 (Elevator/Confined Space): As the fight progresses, you'll be forced into a more confined space, often an elevator shaft. Neil will climb the walls and ceiling, making him harder to hit. His weak points remain the glowing sacs. Use Claire's rifle for precision shots if you have one, or a shotgun when he gets close. Moira's flashlight is crucial for stunning him when he's on the walls, causing him to fall and expose his weak points. Firebombs are effective for sustained damage when he's on the ground.
- Final Phase (Ground Battle): He'll eventually be forced back to the ground, becoming more aggressive. He might charge or perform a powerful slam. Continue to target his glowing sacs. When he's stunned, unload your most powerful weapons. Conserve your magnum or rifle ammo for this phase if possible.
Weak Points: Glowing orange sacs on his body, especially on his back and shoulders. These are his only vulnerable spots.
