Claire and Moira find themselves in a desolate fishing village. Your primary objective is to find a way to the radio tower. The village is crawling with Afflicted, and you'll encounter a new enemy type: the Sploder, an explosive variant that detonates upon death or close proximity. Keep your distance and aim for their weak points (usually the head) to detonate them safely. Use Moira's flashlight to stun groups of enemies, allowing Claire to clear them out efficiently.
You'll need to navigate through several buildings, often requiring Moira to use her crowbar to open boarded-up doors or reveal hidden paths. One key puzzle involves finding a Gear to repair a mechanism that opens a path forward. The gear is typically located in a nearby shed or house. Be thorough in your exploration, as crafting components and ammunition are scattered throughout the village. After repairing the mechanism, you'll gain access to the processing plant, which presents new challenges and more intense combat scenarios. Prepare for tighter corridors and more frequent enemy encounters.
