You begin in the ship's Promenade. Head forward and examine the bloodstains. Continue through the double doors. You'll encounter your first Ooze. These slow-moving creatures are vulnerable to headshots. Aim for the bulbous head. After dispatching it, proceed into the next room. You'll find a Handgun on a table. Pick it up. Continue through the corridor, dealing with more Ooze. You'll eventually reach a large hall with a grand staircase. Head up the stairs and through the door on the second floor. You'll find a Green Herb in a small room. Proceed to the next area, where you'll find a communication device. Interact with it to trigger a cutscene. After the cutscene, you'll need to find a way to the bridge.
Explore the surrounding rooms for additional ammo and items. Remember to use your Genesis Scanner frequently to uncover hidden supplies. The Ooze are relatively weak, but can overwhelm you in groups. Prioritize headshots to conserve ammo. If an Ooze gets too close, try to stun it with a few shots and then follow up with a melee attack to knock it down and save bullets.
