Deck Navigation & Initial Encounters

You begin this episode on the Deck. Your primary objective is to reach the Bridge. The path is relatively straightforward initially, but don't get complacent.

  • Proceed forward from your starting position.
  • You'll soon encounter a group of Ooze enemies. Prioritize headshots to conserve ammunition.
  • Continue through the linear path until you reach a door leading to the Bridge.

Bridge Showdown

The Bridge is where the episode's narrative truly kicks off, leading to a significant boss encounter.

  • Upon entering the Bridge, a cutscene will trigger, revealing the true nature of the threat.
  • After the cutscene, you'll be immediately thrust into a boss battle against Norman, the leader of Veltro.

Boss Strategy: Norman

Norman is a formidable opponent, capable of quick movements and devastating attacks. Patience and precise timing are key to victory.

  • Phase 1: Standard Attacks
    • Norman will primarily use melee attacks and occasionally charge at you.
    • Maintain distance and strafe to avoid his charges.
    • His weak point is the large, glowing red core on his chest. Aim for this whenever he pauses or after an attack.
    • Use your most powerful weapons, such as the Shotgun or Rifle, for maximum damage.
    • Don't be afraid to use grenades if you have them, especially when he's stunned.
  • Phase 2: Teleportation & Clones
    • As Norman takes damage, he will begin to teleport around the room, making him harder to track.
    • He will also occasionally create illusory clones of himself. The real Norman will have a slightly more distinct glow or a different movement pattern. Focus your fire on the real one.
    • Listen for audio cues; the real Norman often makes a distinct sound before attacking.
    • When he teleports, try to anticipate his next position and pre-aim.
