Campaign Unlockables

The primary campaign holds several secrets and challenges that, once overcome, reward you with new ways to play the story mode.

• Infernal Difficulty:

  To unlock the ultimate challenge, complete the main campaign on either Normal or Hard difficulty. Infernal mode features significantly tougher enemies, altered enemy placements, and fewer resources, demanding a deep understanding of the game's mechanics and environments. • New Game +:

  After completing the campaign on any difficulty, New Game + becomes available. • Bonus Costumes:

  • Chris's Sailor Costume: Complete all stages in Raid Mode on the Trench difficulty with an S rank. Chris gets a seafaring makeover, perfect for cruising the Queen Zenobia.
  • Keith's Ninja Costume: Earn an S rank on all stages in Raid Mode on the Abyss difficulty. This stealthy attire provides Keith with a distinct, agile appearance.

Raid Mode Unlockables

Raid Mode is where the majority of the game's unlockables reside, offering new characters, weapons, and stages as you progress and achieve specific goals.

Raid Mode Characters

Expanding your roster of playable characters in Raid Mode allows for diverse gameplay styles and unique weapon proficiencies.

• Hunk: Complete all stages in Raid Mode on the Chasm difficulty with an S rank. Hunk is a fan-favorite, known for his tactical gear and proficiency with submachine guns.
• Lady Hunk: Complete all stages in Raid Mode on the Abyss difficulty with an S rank. This mysterious operative offers a similar playstyle to Hunk but with a distinct aesthetic.
• Raid Mode Stages:

  New stages for Raid Mode are unlocked progressively as you clear the main campaign chapters. Each chapter you complete in the story mode will unlock corresponding Raid Mode stages, allowing you to test your skills in familiar environments with different enemy layouts and objectives.

Raid Mode Weapons & Parts

As you play Raid Mode, you'll naturally acquire new weapons and weapon parts through drops and rewards. However, some powerful items are tied to specific achievements.

• High-Tier Weapons:

  Successfully completing stages on higher difficulties (Trench, Abyss) significantly increases the chances of obtaining rare and powerful weapons, including legendary variants with pre-installed custom parts. Focus on earning S ranks for the best rewards.

• Weapon Parts (Rare):

  Certain powerful weapon parts, such as "Auto Loader" or "Fangs," are more likely to drop from higher-level enemies or as rewards for completing challenging missions. Consider replaying stages with a high enemy count or boss encounters to farm for these elusive upgrades.

• Infinite Rocket Launcher:

  This iconic weapon is unlocked by completing the entire campaign on Infernal difficulty. While not usable in Raid Mode, it makes subsequent campaign playthroughs incredibly satisfying and can help you achieve faster clear times for other challenges.

Achievements & Challenges

Beyond the direct unlocks, many in-game achievements and challenges provide a sense of accomplishment and often come with bonus BP (Battle Points) for use in the shop.

• BP Farming:

  Repeatedly playing Raid Mode stages, especially those you can clear quickly and efficiently, is the best way to earn BP. Use BP to purchase new weapons, weapon parts, and character upgrades in the Raid Mode shop.

• Medals:

  The game features various medals for completing specific tasks, such as defeating a certain number of enemies with a particular weapon type, finding all Handprints, or completing the campaign without dying. While not direct unlockables, these often reward significant BP and contribute to overall game completion.
