Effective resource management is the backbone of survival horror. Here's how to optimize your inventory and economy:
- Genesis Scanner Priority: Always use your Genesis Scanner. The free healing items it provides are invaluable, and finding hidden items can provide crucial ammo or custom parts.
- Ammo Conservation: Prioritize headshots for Ooze and weak points for stronger enemies. Use melee follow-ups whenever possible. Only use powerful weapons (Magnum, Rifle) on bosses or truly threatening enemies.
- Item Box Usage: Don't be afraid to use the item box to swap weapons or custom parts to suit the upcoming area. If you know a boss fight is coming, equip your strongest weapons and damage-boosting parts.
- Raid Mode for Grinding: If you're struggling with resources in the main story, play some Raid Mode missions. You can earn Battle Points (BP) to buy ammo, custom parts, and even new weapons, which can then be used in the main campaign (after certain unlocks).
- Combine Herbs: Always combine two Green Herbs for a more potent healing item, or combine a Green Herb with a First Aid Spray for a full heal. This maximizes their effectiveness.
