Enemy Weaknesses & Tactics

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D throws several infected and hostile humans at you, each requiring a specific approach to defeat efficiently. Understanding their weaknesses and employing the right tactics will not only save you precious ammo but also help you maintain high scores and achieve those coveted S-Ranks.

Enemy Type Weaknesses Tactics
Ganado Headshots, melee attacks after stun. Aim for the head to stun them for a quick melee finisher. If they are in groups, use shotguns or grenades to stagger them.
Ganado (Shield) Leg shots to knock down shield, then headshots. Explosives. Their shields make headshots difficult. Shoot their legs to make them stumble, then quickly aim for the head. Grenades are also effective at breaking their guard.
Majini Headshots, explosive weapons. Similar to Ganados, but often more aggressive. Prioritize headshots. Shotguns and grenades are excellent for clearing groups.
J.J. Weak point on his back when he reloads his minigun. Explosives. This heavily armed enemy is dangerous at range. Dodge his minigun fire and wait for him to reload; his exposed back is a critical weak point. Heavy firepower or well-placed explosives can also take him down quickly.
Licker Headshots, rapid fire. These fast-moving creatures are vulnerable to headshots. Keep your distance and use rapid-fire weapons. Be prepared to dodge their lunges.
Regenerator/Iron Maiden Target the visible Plagas (glowing red spots). Incendiary weapons. These enemies can regenerate damage unless you target the glowing Plagas. Use sniper rifles or weapons with high precision. Incendiary grenades are particularly effective at stopping their regeneration.
Grave Digger Weak point exposed when it surfaces. Explosives. This subterranean threat is only vulnerable when it emerges from the ground. Listen for its burrowing sounds and be ready to attack its exposed head. Explosives can also damage it sificantly.
Chainsaw Man (Dr. Salvador) Headshots (difficult), explosives, rapid fire. Extremely dangerous up close. Aim for the head if you have a clear shot, but it's often safer to use explosives or sustained fire from a distance to stagger and defeat him.

Remember that maintaining a kill combo is vital for high scores. Staggering enemies with well-placed shots and following up with melee attacks is an efficient way to rack up points and conserve ammunition. Always be aware of your surroundings and the types of enemies you are facing to adapt your strategy accordingly.
