The Chainsaw Majini is a recurring mini-boss, identifiable by its menacing chainsaw and high damage output. It's a formidable threat in close quarters.
Phases & Attacks:
- Phase 1 (Normal): Walks slowly towards you, revving its chainsaw. Its primary attack is a devastating overhead swing or a horizontal sweep.
- Phase 2 (Enraged): After taking significant damage, it becomes faster and more aggressive. Its attacks are quicker and harder to dodge.
Weaknesses & Strategy:
- Headshots: Sustained fire to the head is the most effective way to deal damage and can stun it, allowing for a follow-up melee attack (if your character has one that works on mini-bosses, like Hunk's Neck Breaker).
- Explosives: Hand Grenades and Incendiary Grenades are highly effective. Throw them when it's approaching or when it's in a group of other enemies.
- Magnum/Shotgun: These are your best friends. Use Magnum shots to the head for massive damage, or shotgun blasts at close range.
- Distance & Kiting: Maintain distance. Use the environment (pillars, walls) to create separation. Run in circles around it while firing.
- Special Attacks: Characters with high-damage special attacks (Chris's Straight Punch, Hunk's Neck Breaker) can deal significant damage or even one-shot it if it's weakened.
Prioritize the Chainsaw Majini as soon as it appears. Its presence can quickly break your combo if you're not careful. Use your strongest weapons and don't hesitate to use grenades.
