Phases & Attacks:

  • Phase 1 (Normal): Walks slowly, listening for your footsteps or gunshots. If it hears you, it will charge in your direction. Its primary attack is a wide claw swipe.
  • Phase 2 (Enraged): After taking damage, it becomes more aggressive and charges more frequently.

Weaknesses & Strategy:

  • Plaga on the Back: The Garrador is invulnerable from the front. Its only weak point is the exposed Plaga on its back.
  • Sound Manipulation: Fire a single shot to draw its attention, then quickly move to its side or behind it as it charges the sound's origin.
  • Flash Grenades: These are incredibly effective. A Flash Grenade will stun the Garrador, leaving its back exposed for several seconds, allowing you to unload your most powerful weapon into the Plaga.
  • Melee Follow-up: If you manage to stun it with a Flash Grenade or by shooting the Plaga, some characters can perform a powerful melee attack on its back.
  • Shotgun/Magnum: Once the Plaga is exposed, use your highest damage weapon to quickly dispatch it.

The key to defeating the Garrador is patience and precision. Don't waste ammo shooting its armored front. Always aim for the Plaga on its back, and use Flash Grenades to create openings.
