Mission 1-4: Ship

Welcome to Mission 1-4, set aboard a derelict ship. This mission introduces new enemy types and requires careful resource management. Your goal is to eliminate all targets within the time limit. Precision and crowd control are key here.

Recommended Loadout

Character: Chris Redfield (for his balanced stats and shotgun proficiency) or Jill Valentine (for her dodge ability).
Weapons:
- Shotgun: Essential for close-quarters crowd control against multiple enemies and for staggering tougher foes.
- Pistol: For picking off weaker enemies at a distance and conserving shotgun ammo.
- Rifle (Optional): If you prefer long-range precision, but the ship's layout often favors closer engagements.
Skills: Consider equipping "Reload Boost" to quickly replenish your shotgun, or "Melee Master" for increased damage on stunned enemies.

Walkthrough Strategy

Starting Area: Deck Access

You begin on an open deck. Immediately, several Ooze enemies will emerge from the surrounding areas. Prioritize headshots with your Pistol to conserve Shotgun ammo.

Item Location: Look for a Green Herb near the crates to your immediate left at the start.
Strategy: Keep moving and create distance. The Ooze are slow but can overwhelm you if you get cornered. Use your Shotgun if they get too close or if multiple enemies group up.

Mid-Deck Corridor & Engine Room Entrance

Proceed through the narrow corridor. Be wary of Ooze Pustules that might burst from the walls or ceilings, releasing smaller, faster enemies. A new enemy type, the Scarmiglione, will appear as you approach the Engine Room entrance.

Item Location: A Handgun Ammo +30 pickup can be found on a barrel just before the Engine Room door.
Scarmiglione Strategy: These armored enemies are tough. Aim for their exposed head or legs. A well-placed Shotgun blast to the legs can stagger them, allowing for a follow-up melee attack. If they charge, try to dodge and flank them.

Engine Room: Main Combat Zone

The Engine Room is a multi-level area with several Ooze and at least two Scarmiglione. This is where your crowd control skills will be tested.

Item Location:
- On the lower level, near the central machinery, you'll find a Shotgun Shells +10 box.
- An Explosive Bottle is located on a raised platform accessible via a short ladder on the far side of the room.
Strategy:
1. Upon entering, immediately target the Ooze on the lower level with your Pistol.
2. Utilize the environment. The central machinery provides cover and choke points.
3. When the Scarmiglione appear, focus fire on one at a time. Use your Shotgun to break their armor or stagger them.
4. Consider using the Explosive Bottle if multiple tough enemies are clustered together. Throw it to create an opening or clear out weaker foes.
5. Keep an eye on the timer and your remaining enemies. Don't get bogged down in one spot.

Upper Deck & Final Encounter

After clearing the Engine Room, head up the stairs to the Upper Deck. Here, you'll face a final wave, often including a mix of Ooze, Scarmiglione, and potentially a Globster if your combo is high.

Item Location: A First Aid Spray can often be found in a small alcove on the Upper Deck, useful for emergency healing.
Globster Strategy (if present): The Globster is a large, slow-moving enemy that spits corrosive bile. Aim for its exposed mouth when it opens to attack. Keep your distance and use your Shotgun or Pistol.
Overall Strategy: Maintain situational awareness. Use the open space to your advantage, kiting enemies and picking them off one by one. Prioritize the most dangerous threats first (e.g., Globster or Scarmiglione). Finish off any remaining Ooze to complete the mission.
