The Church

Upon your return to the Village, your immediate objective is to reach the Church. This familiar landmark, previously a safe haven, now holds new sificance and a crucial item for your progression. Be prepared for potential encounters along the way, as the Village is far from deserted.

From the Maiden of War statue, head directly towards the Church. The path is relatively straightforward, but keep an eye out for Lycans that may have respawned in the area. It's advisable to conserve ammunition if possible, as tougher challenges lie ahead. As you approach the Church's entrance, you'll notice a new, ominous symbol etched into the door. Interact with the door to trigger a brief cutscene and gain entry.

Inside the Church, your primary goal is to locate the Winged Key. This key is essential for unlocking new areas of the Village and progressing the main story. You'll find it resting on the altar. Before grabbing it, take a moment to scavenge for any resources. There's often some Lei in the pews and sometimes a small amount of handgun ammo or shotgun shells hidden in the corners. Once you have the Winged Key, prepare for your next destination: the Beneviento House.
