The Escape Route
- After securing the Maiden of War statue from the Church, a new path will open near the graveyard. Follow this path, but be wary of patrolling Lycans.
- You'll encounter a barricaded gate. Look for a small gap to the left of the gate; you can squeeze through here.
- Immediately upon entering the new area, you'll be ambushed by several Lycans. Prioritize headshots to conserve ammunition. Consider using a Pipe Bomb if you have one to clear multiple enemies quickly.
- Proceed through the narrow alleyway. You'll spot a ladder leading up to a rooftop. Ascend the ladder.
- On the rooftop, you'll find a small crate containing Handgun Ammo x10 and a First Aid Med. Collect these essential supplies.
- Jump down from the rooftop into the courtyard below. More Lycans will emerge from various entry points. Keep moving and use environmental cover to your advantage.
- Your objective is the large, ornate gate at the far end of the courtyard. It will be locked. Look for a small shed to the right of the gate. Inside, you'll find a Bolt Cutter.
- Use the Bolt Cutter on the chain securing the gate. Be prepared for one final wave of Lycans as you attempt to open it.
- Once the gate is open, sprint through. You'll trigger a cutscene, marking your successful, albeit temporary, escape from the immediate dangers of the Village's central area.
