Locating The Well
The Well is situated in the western part of the Village, specifically within the area you traversed shortly after your first encounter with the Lycans. From the Maiden of War statue in the central plaza, head west past the Duke's shop. Continue along this path, keeping an eye out for the small, dilapidated house on your left. The Well is located directly behind this house, nestled against the back wall. It's easily identifiable by its stone construction and wooden cover.
Interacting with The Well
Upon reaching The Well, you'll notice it's covered by a wooden lid. To open it, you'll need the Well Wheel. If you haven't already acquired it, the Well Wheel is typically found in the small shack near the Fallow Plot, just south of the main village path leading to Luiza's House. Once you have the Well Wheel in your inventory, approach The Well and interact with it. Ethan will automatically use the wheel to crank open the lid, revealing a ladder leading down into the darkness.
The Well's Contents
Descend the ladder into the murky depths. At the bottom, you'll find a small, enclosed space. Your primary objective here is to retrieve the M1911 Handgun, a sificant upgrade to your starting pistol. It's usually found on a small crate or shelf within this confined area. also check for any hidden Lei or crafting materials that might be scattered around. Once you've collected everything, ascend the ladder to return to the surface. The M1911 will prove invaluable in the challenges ahead.
