The Courtyard

Upon entering the castle proper, you'll find yourself in the expansive Courtyard. This area serves as a central hub for the initial stages of Castle Dimitrescu and contains several key items and pathways. While seemingly safe at first glance, be aware that enemies can and will patrol this area later on. Your immediate goal here is to gain access to the castle's interior.

First, take a moment to survey your surroundings. To your immediate left, you'll notice a small, ornate fountain. Directly ahead, a grand staircase leads up to the main entrance. Before ascending, head to the right side of the Courtyard. You'll find a small alcove containing a Herb and some Handgun Ammo. Collect these, as resources are always valuable. There's also a locked gate here, which you won't be able to open yet.

Now, proceed up the grand staircase. At the top, you'll find the main double doors leading into the castle. Interact with them to trigger a short cutscene and gain entry to the Foyer. Remember the layout of the Courtyard, as you'll be returning here multiple times throughout your exploration of Castle Dimitrescu.
