Origin:

  • When a standard zombie is killed but its corpse is not burned (with a Lighter and Fuel Canteen), it will eventually reanimate as a Crimson Head.

Attacks:

  • Extremely fast claw attacks, lunging attacks.

Strategy:

  • Prevention: The best strategy is prevention. Always burn zombie corpses in high-traffic areas or rooms you frequently revisit. Chris starts with a Lighter; Jill must find one.
  • Combat: If you encounter a Crimson Head, treat it like a mini-boss. Use your Shotgun for quick, decisive damage. Aim for the head or torso. Handguns are generally ineffective due to their speed and durability.
  • Evasion: If you're low on ammo or health, evasion is a viable option. Their speed makes them hard to outrun in tight corridors, so try to lure them into open areas or use quick turns to escape.

Recommended Weapon:

  • Shotgun.

Reward:

  • Survival, peace of mind.
