Character Selection: Chris vs. Jill

At the start of the game, you'll choose between Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine. This choice significantly impacts your gameplay experience, offering different challenges and advantages.

Chris Redfield:

• Pros: More durable (can take more hits), starts with a Combat Knife and a Lighter (useful for certain puzzles).
• Cons: Fewer inventory slots (6), cannot use the Lockpick (requires Small Keys for locked drawers), slower movement.
• Recommended For: Players who prefer a more challenging experience, or those who want to focus on combat and durability.

Jill Valentine:

• Pros: More inventory slots (8), starts with a Lockpick (can open certain locked drawers without Small Keys), can be accompanied by Barry Burton (who provides assistance and powerful weapons at times).
• Cons: Less durable (takes more damage), does not start with a Lighter (must find one).
• Recommended For: First-time players, or those who prefer a slightly easier and more puzzle-oriented experience.
