The Core Guardian is a large, stationary boss with a central core and several orbiting segments. Its primary attack involves firing slow-moving projectiles. To defeat it, you must first destroy the orbiting segments. Lock onto as many segments as possible with each volley. Once all segments are destroyed, the central core will become vulnerable. Focus all your fire on the core. The boss will periodically regenerate its segments, so be prepared to repeat the process. Use Overdrive if you find yourself surrounded by too many projectiles or if you want to quickly clear the segments to expose the core. The key is consistent damage output and avoiding incoming fire.
