The Network Sentinel is a multi-segmented boss that moves erratically across the screen. Its primary attack involves firing a barrage of projectiles from its various segments. To defeat it, you must destroy each segment individually. The segments will often rearrange themselves, making it challenging to lock onto all of them at once. Focus on destroying the segments that are actively firing at you first. Once all segments are destroyed, the core will be exposed for a short period. Unleash all your locked-on shots on the core. The boss will regenerate its segments after a short while. Use Overdrive strategically to clear segments quickly or to avoid a dense volley of projectiles.
