Overdrive Management: Your Overdrive (Trance/Awakening) is a powerful tool. Don't hoard it! Use it strategically to clear dense enemy waves, especially during boss encounters or when you're overwhelmed.
Evolution Focus: Your primary goal in each Area is to evolve your avatar. This is achieved by collecting blue Evolution Spheres. Prioritize them, even if it means taking a slightly less direct route.
Combo Chaining: The key to high scores is maintaining long combo chains. Look for opportunities to lock onto multiple enemies simultaneously. Remember, the more targets you lock onto before releasing, the higher your score multiplier.
Boss Core Exposure: During boss fights, focus fire on the boss's weak points or "cores" as soon as they are exposed. This minimizes the fight duration and reduces incoming damage.

Area 1: The Genesis of Rhythm

This introductory area is your training ground for efficient play. Focus on learning the enemy patterns and the rhythm of the music.

Opening Wave: As soon as the area begins, you'll encounter a series of small, red, single-shot enemies. Lock onto as many as possible in a single sweep to start building your combo.
Evolution Sphere 1: Located shortly after the first few enemy waves, this blue sphere is hard to miss. Ensure you collect it to progress your avatar's form.
Mid-Area Swarm: A large group of interconnected enemies will appear. This is an excellent opportunity for a massive multi-lock. Aim for the central enemy to chain through the entire group.
