Wheels & Boosts

Customize your Rocket League car with Wheels like Tremor and X-Tempo, and Rocket Trails, obtained through Blueprints and trading.

Wheels and Boosts are key cosmetic items in Rocket League, allowing players to personalize their vehicles. These items, like all other customization options, are purely aesthetic and do not confer any gameplay advantages. Players can collect a variety of wheels and rocket trails to express their style.

Wheels

Wheels are a collectible item used to customize a player's vehicle. They provide no advantages while equipped and are purely cosmetic. Examples include:

  • Tremor Wheels: Released on March 11, 2020, these Exotic rarity wheels were released in the Ignition Series. They can be obtained from a Blueprint at the end of a match, purchased from the Item Shop when available, or traded between players. Painted variants include Black, Burnt Sienna, Cobalt, Crimson, Forest Green, Grey, and Lime.
  • X-Tempo Wheels: Released on February 23, 2021, these wheels are used to customize a player's Battle-Car. They are categorized as Deluxe rarity, while the special edition X-Tempo: Radiant are Import rarity. They can be found in Season 2 Series blueprints, by trading up 5 Rare blueprints from the same series, or traded between players. Painted variants include Cobalt, Crimson, Forest Green, Grey, Lime, Pink, Purple, Orange, Saffron, Sky Blue, and Titanium White.

Rocket Trails (Boosts)

Rocket Trails are one of the five categories of items to collect in Rocket League. These are cosmetic effects that emanate from the back of a player's vehicle when boosting. They provide no advantages while in use and are purely cosmetic.
