Understanding the User Interface (UI) — Rocket League Guide

Navigate Rocket League's user interface, including the scoreboard, boost meter, ball cam indicator, and main menu options.

The Rocket League UI is clean and functional, providing essential information without clutter. Familiarize yourself with these key elements:

  • Scoreboard: Located at the top of the screen, showing team scores and time remaining.
  • Boost Meter: In the bottom right corner, indicating your current boost level. Collect orange pads for 12 boost, large yellow pads for 100 boost.
  • Ball Cam Indicator: A small icon in the bottom left, showing whether Ball Cam is active (camera follows the ball) or Car Cam (camera follows your car). Toggle with Triangle/Y.
  • Player Names & Stats: During a match, pressing the scoreboard button (Options/Menu) will show player names, scores, and ping.
  • Main Menu: Access modes like Play, Garage, Training, Challenges, and the Item Shop.

Understanding these elements quickly will help you make informed decisions during fast-paced matches.
