Item Management & Trading

Effective item management and trading are key aspects of Rocket League, allowing players to customize their vehicles and acquire desired cosmetics. Items like wheels, decals, and rocket trails are purely cosmetic and do not provide any competitive advantage in the game.

Players can acquire items through various methods:

Blueprints: Blueprints can drop at the end of a match.
Item Shop: Items are available for direct purchase from the Item Shop when featured.
Trading: Players can trade items with other players. This applies to items like the Tremor wheels and all import bodies.
Trade-in System: Certain items can be acquired by trading in five items of a lower rarity. For example, X-Tempo wheels can be obtained by trading up 5 Rare blueprints from the same series. Import-rarity painted versions of Common vehicle bodies can be exclusively obtained through trade-ins.

The X-Tempo wheels, released on February 23, 2021, are categorized as Deluxe rarity, while their special edition, X-Tempo: Radiant, are Import rarity.
