Objective: Anticipate ball bounces off the backboard and make effective defensive aerial clears.
Strategy: Spend time in Free Play hitting the ball hard into your own backboard and practicing flying up to meet it. Learn to predict where the ball will go. In matches, when an opponent shoots, position yourself to intercept the ball as it comes off your backboard, either clearing it to the side or setting up a counter-attack. Defensive aerials require good judgment of when to challenge and when to stay grounded.
Rewards: Stronger defense, fewer easy goals conceded, and the ability to turn defensive plays into offensive opportunities.
