Player-to-Player Trading

Rocket League allows players to trade items with each other, offering an alternative method to acquire desired customizations. Items like Decals, Wheels, Rocket Trails, and Toppers can be traded. This system complements other acquisition methods such as Blueprints and the Item Shop, providing flexibility for players to customize their vehicles. Trading is a direct way to get specific items you're looking for.

Player-to-player trading is a core feature for acquiring cosmetic items in Rocket League. Items that can be traded include:

  • Decals
  • Wheels
  • Rocket Trails
  • Toppers

These items can be obtained from Blueprints at the end of a match, purchased from the Item Shop when available, or directly traded between players. This trading system extends to various item rarities and types, including painted variants of wheels like Tremor and X-Tempo, and Import-rarity vehicle bodies.

Tradeable Items Examples:

  • Wheels: Tremor (Deluxe rarity), X-Tempo (Deluxe rarity), X-Tempo: Radiant (Import rarity)
  • Import Bodies: Octane ZSR, Breakout Type-S, Road Hog XL

Import-rarity painted versions of Common vehicle bodies are exclusively obtained through trade-ins, where players trade in five Very Rare items. All import bodies, regardless of how they are acquired, can be traded between players.
