Understanding the post-match screen and how to maximize your gains is crucial for unlocking new gear, emotes, and customization options. Understanding the Post-Match Summary

Immediately after a match concludes, you'll be presented with the "Match Summary" screen. This screen provides a detailed breakdown of your performance and the rewards you've earned. Take a moment to review it before diving into your next race.

  • Team Score: Displays the final score for both your team and the opposing team.
  • Personal Performance: Highlights your individual statistics, including goals scored, tackles landed, assists, and distance skated. Strong individual performance, even in a loss, can still contribute positively to your experience gains.
  • Match Experience (XP): This is the primary driver of your overall player level. XP is awarded based on several factors:
    • Match Outcome: Winning a match grants a significant bonus to your XP.
    • Personal Performance: Higher individual stats translate to more XP.
    • Time Played: Longer matches generally yield more base XP.
    • Bonus Objectives: Keep an eye out for daily or weekly challenges that might offer additional XP for specific actions (e.g., "Score 3 goals in a single match," "Win 2 matches as a Defender").
  • Fan Gain: Fans are a unique currency in Roller Champions that contribute to your "Fan Pass" progression. Gaining fans unlocks various cosmetic rewards.
    • Match Outcome: Similar to XP, winning provides a substantial Fan bonus.
    • Spectacular Plays: Performing impressive actions like long-distance shots, multi-tackles, or perfectly timed interceptions can award bonus Fans.
    • Fan Pass Challenges: Specific challenges within the Fan Pass often reward large chunks of Fans upon completion. Check the "Fan Pass" section in the main menu regularly.

Unlocking Rewards: The Fan Pass and Loot Balls

Your post-match gains directly feed into two main reward systems:

1. The Fan Pass

The Fan Pass is Roller Champions' battle pass equivalent. As you accumulate Fans from matches, you'll progress through tiers, unlocking several cosmetic items. To access and track your Fan Pass progress:

  1. From the main menu, navigate to the "Fan Pass" tab.
  2. Here, you'll see your current Fan Pass level and the rewards available at each tier.
  3. Claiming Rewards: Once you reach a new tier, a notification will appear on the Fan Pass tab. Click on the unlocked reward to add it to your inventory. Rewards can include:
    • Skater Outfits: Full costume sets or individual pieces (helmets, gloves, skates).
    • Emotes: Expressive animations to use in-game or in the locker room.
    • Goal Effects: Visual flair that plays when you score a goal.
    • Air Tricks: New aerial maneuvers for stylish skating.
    • Roller Coins: The premium currency used to purchase items directly from the in-game store or to buy the premium Fan Pass.
    • Loot Balls: These are essentially loot boxes containing random cosmetic items.

Strategy Tip: Focus on completing the "Fan Pass Challenges" displayed on the Fan Pass screen. These challenges often provide the most efficient way to earn large amounts of Fans and quickly progress through tiers.

2. Loot Balls

Loot Balls are another exciting way to earn rewards. They are primarily obtained through Fan Pass progression, but occasionally special events or daily login bonuses might award them. To open your Loot Balls:

  1. From the main menu, navigate to the "Locker Room" tab.
  2. Look for the "Loot Balls" section. If you have any unopened Loot Balls, a numerical indicator will show how many are available.
  3. Opening Loot Balls: Click on an available Loot Ball to open it. Each Loot Ball contains a random cosmetic item, which can range in rarity from Common to Legendary.
    • Common: Basic customization items, often recolors of existing gear.
    • Rare: More distinct items, sometimes with unique designs.
    • Epic: Highly detailed and visually striking items.
    • Legendary: The rarest and most sought-after items, often featuring elaborate designs and unique animations.
