Pests and plant diseases can decimate your crops, turning a promising harvest into a barren field. Understanding how to identify and combat these threats is crucial for successful farming.

The most common threats to your crops are Pests and Diseases. Pests are typically represented by small creatures or insects that can damage your plants, reducing their yield or even killing them. Diseases manifest as visual changes to the plant's appearance, indicating a health issue that needs to be addressed.

Identifying Pests and Diseases:

• Visual Cues: Pay close attention to your crops. Small, dark spots, wilting leaves, or visible insects on the plant are clear indicators of trouble.
• Plant Status: Interacting with a plant will often provide a status update, indicating if it's healthy, diseased, or infested.

Pest Control:

The primary method for dealing with pests is through the use of Scarecrows and Windmills. These items, when placed near your crops, have a chance to deter pests from damaging your plants. The effectiveness of these items can be increased by placing multiple scarecrows or windmills in proximity to your farm plots.

• Scarecrows: A basic deterrent. Place them strategically within your farm area.
• Windmills: Offer a slightly better chance of deterring pests compared to scarecrows.

Plant Disease Management:

Plant diseases are more insidious and require a different approach. The most effective way to combat diseases is through preventative measures and careful management of your crops.
