Beyond your main storage, having hidden stashes or secret loot rooms can save your wipe if your main base is raided.
- Buried Stashes: Craft a Small Stash (10 wood) and bury it in a discreet location. Remember its exact spot! Good for emergency kits or blueprints.
- Underwater Stashes: Place stashes underwater, especially near your base or a monument. Requires a diving kit to retrieve easily.
- External Loot Rooms: Build a small, separate 1x1 or 1x2 structure away from your main base, perhaps disguised as a rock or a small bush. Store less valuable but still useful items here.
- False Walls/Floors: In larger bases, create hidden compartments behind false walls or under removable floor panels. These require careful planning and knowledge of building mechanics.
- Decoy Bases: Build a small, easily raidable base with some low-tier loot to distract raiders from your main base.
The goal is to make your most valuable items as hard to find as possible, even if raiders get inside your main base.
