Objective: Monument Runs & Scrap Accumulation

Accumulate Scrap from Rust monuments like Lighthouse. Use Recyclers to unlock blueprints for the Revolver and custom SMG.

Now it's time to venture into monuments. Start with low-radiation monuments like the Lighthouse, Gas Station, or Supermarket. These areas contain barrels and crates that yield components, resources, and most importantly, Scrap. Be extremely cautious, as other players will also be looting these areas. Avoid scientists initially unless you have a crossbow and some basic armor (burlap or hide). Your primary goal is to accumulate Scrap. Use the Recycler found at Outpost or Bandit Camp to turn unwanted components into raw resources and more Scrap. Aim to gather at least 500-1000 Scrap to start unlocking crucial blueprints on the Workbench Level 1 Tech Tree, such as the Revolver, Custom SMG, and basic armor pieces.
