After defeating The Queen of Smiles, proceed through the exit of the Castle of Storms into The Watching Woods. This area is characterized by its dense foliage and tricky platforming. New enemies include the Disemboweled Husk, which can inflict bleed, and the Scarecrow, which has a surprisingly long reach. Be cautious of falling into pits or off ledges. Your primary goal is to find the next Sanctuary, which is often hidden or requires a bit of exploration to reach. Look for paths that lead downwards and to the right. There are also several hidden items and potential shortcuts to unlock. The woods can be disorienting, so pay attention to landmarks. Eventually, you'll reach a large, open area that leads to the next major boss encounter, the Mad Alchemist. Ensure you're well-equipped and have full healing before proceeding.
