Key Items and Quest Items are essential for progressing through Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, unlocking new areas, and advancing NPC storylines. Many of these items are found through exploration, defeating bosses, or trading with specific NPCs. Managing your inventory, especially coin purses, is crucial for saving Sen and acquiring valuable items.

• Divine Grass: Can be purchased from Pot Noble Harunaga for 1 Treasure Carp Scale.
• Withered Red Gourd: Can be purchased from Pot Noble Harunaga for 2 Treasure Carp Scales.
• Mask Fragment: Right: A key item purchased from Pot Noble Harunaga for 7 Treasure Carp Scales.
• Floating Passage Text: A key item purchased from Pot Noble Harunaga for 5 Treasure Carp Scales.
• Light Coin Purse: Found on a ledge near Pot Noble Harunaga. Also available for purchase from merchants to safely store Sen.
• Holy Chapter Infested: Found at the bottom of the pond in Senpou Temple after acquiring the Mibu Breathing Technique.
• Young Lord’s Bell Charm: Received from Inosuke’s Mother, granting access to an optional area.
• Dragon’s Blood Droplet: An item for reversing Dragonrot, received from Emma. These are finite and best saved for critical NPC questlines.
• Mechanical Barrel: Received after defeating Gyoubu, enabling prosthetic tool upgrades.
• Gatehouse Key: Obtained after defeating the Bull, by killing an Ashina Spearman on a bridge near an Old Woman NPC.
