The Offering Box is a unique item in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice that serves as a repository for items donated by NPCs who have succumbed to Dragonrot. It is a key element in the Dragonrot cure questline and provides a way to receive some compensation for the suffering of others.

When an NPC contracts Dragonrot, they become ill and eventually cease to offer their services or interact normally. If Sekiro dies multiple times after an NPC has become afflicted, they may eventually pass away. In such cases, their belongings are placed in the Offering Box, which can be found in the Dilapidated Temple.

How the Offering Box Works:

• Dragonrot Progression: As more NPCs fall victim to Dragonrot and pass away, their items will accumulate in the Offering Box.
• Retrieving Items: You can interact with the Offering Box to retrieve the items left behind. These often include valuable consumables, Sen, or even crafting materials.
• Quest Relevance: The Offering Box plays a crucial role in the quest to cure Dragonrot. While it doesn't directly cure the disease, it sifies the progression of the affliction and the loss of NPCs.
