Inosuke Nogami and the Young Lord's Bell Charm
In the Ashina Outskirts, near a broken house, you will encounter a distressed NPC who mistakes you for her son, Inosuke Nogami. This encounter is significant as she bestows upon you the Young Lord's Bell Charm. This seemingly simple item is the key to unlocking the Hirata Estate, a new and crucial area accessible via the Dilapidated Temple. After this interaction, you'll need to deal with some Gamefowl and then find a hidden entrance within a destroyed building.
Inside the first floor of this building, you can find several Light Coin Purses, a valuable early-game currency. Further on, you'll meet a dying soldier who reveals himself to be Inosuke Nogami. He is a vassal of the Hirata family and expresses concern for his mother. You can reassure him that you have met her and received the bell charm, bringing him some peace in his final moments.
Continuing your path, you'll eventually reach a merchant known as Crow's Bed Memorial Mob. Here, you can purchase Robert's Firecrackers, which can be converted into the Shinobi Firecracker Prosthetic Tool. This tool is invaluable for stunning enemies and creating openings for attacks. To avoid the attention of a nearby cannon enemy, you can utilize a narrow path with dropdowns leading to tall grass, allowing for stealthy progression.
