Kotaro's Questline

Kotaro is a large, white-robed monk found near the Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo - Temple Grounds Idol. He is looking for a 'pure white flower'. You have three options for his quest: 1. Give him the Red and White Pinwheel (found nearby). This will send him to the Abandoned Dungeon, where he becomes a merchant. 2. Give him the White Pinwheel (found in the same area). This will send him to the Sunken Valley, where he dies. 3. Use the Divine Abduction Prosthetic Tool on him. This will send him to Anayama the Peddler, where he becomes his assistant, completing Anayama's quest and expanding his shop. The third option is generally considered the most beneficial.
