In the early stages of your journey, after being saved by the Sculptor and receiving your prosthetic arm, you will find yourself in Ashina Reservoir. Here, you can practice stealth mechanics. Bypass guards unnoticed by crouching in tall grass and using the underfloor of structures. Eavesdropping on conversations can provide valuable information; look for the "Eavesdrop" icon with a red tick mark after listening. You can also practice ledge hanging by pressing Square to hang and move along ledges, indicated by white paint on climbable walls.
Within the inner courtyard, defeat two enemies to gain 37XP and a chance for 1x Pellet. Open the nearby building to obtain the Shinobi Axe of the Monkey, an upgrade material for the Loaded Axe Prosthetic Tool. A corridor leads to a shortcut gate; near it, find 1x Gokan's Sugar, which reduces posture damage. Unlock this gate to create quick access to the Sculptor's Idol. The inner courtyard opposite the eavesdropping spot contains several Gamefowls; defeat them for 1x Pellet and 3x Ungo's Sugar. Climb to the roof of this structure to find 1x Light Coin Purse in a bird's nest. Anayama the Peddler, an NPC found in an adjacent courtyard, will mention a three-story pagoda with valuable treasure.
Emma, a doctor, will explain that she created the Healing Gourd for Kuro, the Divine Heir. The gourd's water replenishes itself, and you can bring her Gourd Seeds to increase its capacity. She may also inquire about a white mark on your face, theorizing it relates to your connection with the Dragon's Heritage, a special bloodline that makes Kuro a target.
