Sunken Valley: The Serpent's Domain

The Sunken Valley is home to the great serpent and guarded by elite snipers like Shirahagi of the Snake Eyes. This area features challenging enemies and important items. Players will need the Gun Fort Shrine Key to access parts of this region and can find a Gourd Seed within a wooden shelter.

  • Locations: The Sunken Valley connects to areas like Ashina Reservoir, Ashina Outskirts, Ashina Castle, Senpou Temple, Mt. Kongo, Sunken Valley Passage, Ashina Depths, and Fountainhead Palace.
  • Key Items:
    • Gun Fort Shrine Key: Found behind Kuro in the library. This key is needed for the Sunken Valley area.
    • Gourd Seed #7: To find this, travel to the first Senpou Temple Idol. Drop down the cliff to the broken bridge with a Seeker Monk. Drop down again to find a Senpou Assassin next to a Kite Contraption. Stealth Deathblow the Assassin and use Puppeteer Ninjutsu. Continue through the Sunken Valley past two Gun Fort Riflemen. On the ledge where the second Rifleman was, locate a climbable cave. Pass through the cave to the other side where two more Riflemen patrol. Grapple up to where the highest Rifleman was and climb to the plateau above him. The Gourd Seed is inside a wooden shelter there.
  • Enemies: The Sunken Valley is guarded by elite snipers like Shirahagi, a member of the Snake Eyes, who is stationed in the Gun Fort and guards the Poison Pools beneath it.
