Shichimen Warriors are spectral enemies that, much like the Headless, are resistant to conventional attacks and can inflict Terror. They are typically found in secluded areas, such as the Guardian Ape's Watering Hole and the Fountainhead Palace. Their primary offensive capabilities involve firing projectiles of spectral energy and performing a swift, close-range attack. The most dangerous aspect of a Shichimen Warrior is their ability to charge up a powerful spectral blast that deals significant damage and inflicts Terror. Similar to Headless, the use of Divine Confetti is essential for dealing damage to them. Without this consumable, your attacks will have little to no effect.
To effectively defeat a Shichimen Warrior, the application of Divine Confetti is the first and most critical step. Once you have the confetti active, focus on deflecting their projectile attacks. When they begin to charge their spectral blast, this is your primary window of opportunity. Sprinting to the side or performing a well-timed dodge can avoid the blast. Immediately after they unleash the blast, they will be briefly vulnerable. Use this opening to close the distance and land several hits. The Loaded Spear Prosthetic Tool can be particularly effective here, as its reach allows you to strike from a safer distance and can even pull the Shichimen Warrior towards you, creating further openings. If you have the skill to perform a jump-kick after deflecting a projectile, this can also stagger them momentarily. Be mindful of their melee swipe, which is fast and can interrupt your attacks. The use of sugars, such as the Urata Sugar for increased Vitality damage or the Ito Sugar for increased Terror resistance, can also provide a slight edge in this challenging encounter.
