This chapter takes you out of the museum and into the sprawling, sand-swept ruins of ancient Egypt. The environments open up, offering more space for maneuvering but also exposing you to long-range threats. You'll be introduced to the infamous Biomechanoids (both small and large), which fire devastating plasma projectiles. The Minigun, a staple of the Serious Sam series, will be acquired here, providing unparalleled sustained firepower. Your main goal is to navigate through the ruins, solving minor environmental puzzles and clearing out massive enemy concentrations to reach a specific temple. Expect large-scale battles with dozens of enemies on screen simultaneously. The key to survival here is to prioritize targets: take out long-range threats like Biomechanoids first, then deal with fast-moving melee enemies. use your Rocket Launcher (if acquired) for high-value targets or dense groups.
