Cheats & Console Commands

Welcome, fellow Mental-slayer! While Serious Sam 3: BFE is designed to be a challenging experience, sometimes you just want to blow stuff up without worrying about health, ammo, or those pesky Gnaar charging you down. This section details how to activate various cheats and console commands to enhance your gameplay, test strategies, or simply have some unadulterated fun.

Important Note: Using console commands and cheats will disable achievements for your current session. If you wish to earn achievements, you must restart the game without using any cheats.

Activating the Console

To access the in-game console, simply press the tilde key (~) during gameplay. This will bring up a small command line at the bottom of your screen where you can input commands.

Essential Cheats (via Console)

These commands provide immediate and significant advantages. Type them into the console and press Enter to activate.

  • cht_bGod: Activates God Mode. Sam becomes invincible to all damage. Perfect for exploring or just watching the chaos unfold.
  • cht_bGiveAll: Grants Sam all weapons and maximum ammo for each. Be prepared for a full arsenal!
  • cht_bInfiniteAmmo: Provides unlimited ammunition for all your current weapons. Never reload again!
  • cht_bInvisible: Makes Sam invisible to enemies. They won't attack you, allowing for easy exploration or stealthy approaches (if you're into that kind of thing in Serious Sam).
  • cht_bFly: Enables flying mode. Use your movement keys (W, A, S, D) to navigate through the air. Great for reaching hidden areas or getting a bird's-eye view of the battlefield.
  • cht_bGhost: Similar to flying, but also allows Sam to pass through walls and objects. Ideal for clipping through levels or finding secrets.
  • cht_bUnlockLevels: Unlocks all levels in the campaign, allowing you to jump to any stage you desire without having to play through the previous ones.
